Railana as an experienced player of the rail transport market knows that timely supply wagon to loading is an integral part of high-quality transportation service. In most cases, the responsibility of the wagons supply for loading assumes administration of railway. However, the events of 2007-2008, showed that even the administrations of railways face significant difficulties timely provide wagons to customers. Therefore, without waiting for a long time, Railana took the initiative and started to provide an additional service - on-time delivery of wagons for loading.

The main advantages of new types of wagons 11-1807 (compared with the old ones – 11-066):

• Bigger capacity - 138 m³ (old model - 120 m³), the wagon is 2 meters longer; allow to load more cargo what reduce the price of one tonne of freight.

• Wider wagons doors - 3973 mm (old model - 2000 mm), which allows to facilitate palletized non-standard dimensions cargo loading and load greater length and width cargo, giving more freedom to maneuver the loader.

• Metallic body (old model – wooden). Inside the old wooden wagon you can see a lot of nails and other devices on the walls and floors, which often damages the appearance of commercial cargo during the transportation.

• Higher doors - 2717 mm (old model - 2300 mm), facilitates the second / third floor loading, and also allows to load the second / third floor last row near the door.

   

Resume - the following advantages of the new type of wagon has a positive impact on freight rates: in such wagons you can load larger quantities cargo, what reduce transportation costs and provide safer transportation. Wider and higher doors makes loading / unloading works more simple. This is particularly true in the transportation of goods by non-standard dimensions.
